Strawberry and Nutella French Toast Roll Ups

Spoil mum this Mother’s Day with this delectable breakfast treat that she will absolutely love.

Serves 4.
2-3 rolls per person
 
Ingredients

• 10 slices of white bread
• 10 tsp of nutella
• 10 strawberries, finely chopped
• 2 eggs
• ¼ cup caster sugar
• 1.5 tbsp cinnamon powder
• 50g melting chocolate

 
Method:

1. Cut the crust off each slice of bread
2. Use a rolling pin to flatten the slide of bread and evenly spread 1 tsp of Nutella and 1 tsp of strawberries. Roll up and repeat with remaining pieces of bread.
3. Whisk 2 eggs in a bowl and lightly dip each roll to coat in the egg mixture
4. Heat a non stick pan on medium heat and cook for a few minutes on each side
5. Combine the sugar and cinnamon powder and coat each roll in the mixture
6. Heat the melted chocolate in a microwave for 30 seconds, place in a snap lock bag and cut the corner. Drizzle on top and enjoy!
