More than Words

Pacific Fair is proud to partner with the Gold Coast City Council Library in a fantastic competition for junior readers aged 6-12 years called 'More than Words'. In line with Library and Information Week, the competition will give 100 children the chance to win a breakfast at Pacific Fair at 8am on Saturday 17 May. At the breakfast the children will have the opportunity to meet with three of Australia's top children authors, Matt Dray, author/illustrator, Stephen Axelson and illustrator Kim Toft.

The 'More than Words' competition runs over a six week period between 31 March to 9 May. During the six weeks, Gold Coast children are required to read six books and complete an entry form outlining the books they have read. All completed entry forms must be placed into an entry barrel at any Gold Coast Library by 9 May when the 100 lucky winners will be drawn for the breakfast event.

The entry forms are available at Gold Coast libraries, Pacific Fair customer service desks and they have also been distributed throughout Gold Coast Primary schools.

If you wish to receive any further information regarding this event please contact Maryanne Hyde who is the Library Services Program Development Officer on (07) 5581 7441.
